My Father Was A Nazi Slave

My father was a child slave laborer for the Nazis. He was taken into custody when he was about 11 when my grandfather and great uncle were arrested for being part of the Polish Underground where, as lawyers, they had been getting fake paperwork for Jews to get out of Nazi occupied Poland. In the 1970s when I was about 10 years old I remember being with my grandfather when he received a phone call essentially from Israel. It was a strange conversation, and at the end I asked him what it was. He said that something like 92 people had identified him specifically as the lawyer that had gotten them their paperwork to get out of Poland, and they were now living in Israel or New York, and had been interviewed to figure out who had helped people escape the Holocaust. I think they were trying to offer him some status called, “Righteous Among the Nations,” or something that came with Israeli citizenship and free healthcare, and they mostly wanted to give him the acknowledgement. He politely turn...

A Call For Peace Between Israel and Hamas

While there is much contention about it, and there are claims of antisemitism every time anyone mentions it, historically, Ashkenazi Jews from Europe had their own country over 1,000 years ago called Khazaria in what is now Kazakhstan, Southern Russia, and Crimea, but all of the important cities in their country were in what is now Crimea. The Khazarians ruled the area from 650 AD to around 965 AD until the Kievan Rus came to ascendancy and conquered the Crimean peninsula. The Kievan Rus descended to become the Czars of Russia.      Then when the Golden Horde of Mongols arrived in the 1220s they pushed the Royal family of Khazaria out of Crimea and they moved to Italy, while most of the Ashkenazi Jews with the ability to migrate traveled west into the rest of Europe, primarily to Poland where intermarrage with local leaders formed the Schlachta Nobility, who established The Jagiellonian University about 100 years later.       Jews h...

Is It Ukraine Or The Ukraine?

On August 24th 1991 the Ukraine officially declared its independence from the Soviet Union. On December 3rd 1991 the Associated Press stopped referring to it as, "the Ukraine," and started referring to it as, "Ukraine." As in Russia is a country and Ukraine is a country. When the Associated Press called the area Ukraine, it was as if it was a fully separate country from Russia with no long and interconnected history. Traditionally the Ukraine was referred to as the Ukraine and is still referred to as the Ukraine in many places on the planet.      Christmas 1991 saw the complete dissolution of the Soviet Union, and the United States has had its heart set on stealing the Ukraine ever since the day the Soviet Union fell apart. A little over 22 years later the United States backed whichever government emerged after the Maidan Revolution as long as they wanted to join the West. Without any proof whatsoever I would assert that the United States may have agit...
