Stupidity Watch 1

First Alberta, then Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Manitoba are all talking about joining the United States as a block, if they join they would each get 2 senators and some representatives. The total number of House representatives would be kept at 435 and everything would be redistricted in the United States with large states like California and New York losing House seats. Saskatchewan will likely get 2 representatives, Alberta 8 representatives, British Columbia 12 representatives, and Manitoba 2 representatives. Only Edmonton in Alberta and half of British Columbia are liberal, with all the rest being conservative, so I expect 2 representatives from Alberta and 6 representatives from BC to be liberal along with 1 Senator from BC, with the other 16 Representatives and 7 Senators being conservative, a net gain of 8 in the House and 6 in the Senate for conservatives that will caucus with the Republicans.      Donald Trump arrived as a populist third party candidate where he packed stadiums with his Make America Great Again or MAGA rallies in 2016. He took over the Republican Party while openly saying that he was not a Republican, but because he was a Conservative he ran as a Republican. Before the first midterm of his presidency he used the primary process of 2018 to get rid of Republicans that opposed him. The Republicans In Name Only, or RINOs as they became known refused to get on board with Trump and kept getting primaried. Even after he was no longer president he kept doing it.      The trifecta of intolerance is racism, prejudice, and bigotry, but if you're even one of them you are morally reprehensible. Everyone is supposed to agree on that, right? But people stand by and allow bigotry, prejudice and racism to go unchecked, and there are others who endorse them because they're also bigots.      Racism is easy to understand, racism is being prejudiced against somebody because of their race, or color of their skin, prejudice is the broader term that encompasses all other reasons to be nasty to any identifiable group, say due to sexual orientation or religion, and a bigot is, "a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group."      Simply being born in another country exposes a person to the culture, morals and religions of that country, and to...
