Marijuana Movement 's article on the subject claimed that you can hydrogenate CBD into HHC, when what is really happening is that they are taking the precursor to both CBD and THC called cannabigerol or CBG and turning it into Delta 8 THC. This allows them to bypass the laws in states that still have illegal marijuana which has the main psychoactive ingredient of Delta 9 THC. Marijuana Does Not Lose Potency By Cloning By Robert Korczynski I was watching Anton Petrov on YouTube explain how mammalian cloning starts to fail after 25 generations and cannot make it past 58 because the cells must be manipulated in a lab to reset them which introduces unavoidable mutations. He noted that plants (and there was a picture of a Russet potato) can be cloned indefinitely. Despite saying this, a clear pothead in the comments still claimed that "a certain plant" loses potency and flavor every time it is cloned. The idea that cloning marijuana repeatedly leads to a loss of potency is a myth that originated with viral infections in commercial grows, and has almost nothing to do with home grows. Okay so let's review Trump's Executive Order signed on Thursday July 24th 2025 called Ending Crime and Disorder on America's Streets. It stands on the June 2025 Supreme Court ruling in Grants Pass which found that cities and municipalities could in fact ticket homeless people to prevent them from setting up homeless camps. Trump's EO provides funding to set up temporary processing camps like Alligator Alcatraz staffed by doctors, psychiatrists, and drug rehab specialists to process all homeless men that anyone wants to round up, and all paid for with Housing and Urban Development funds. The EO also provides funding to open more housing for homeless women and children and specifically bars men from being housed along with the women and children. There are about 775,000 homeless people at any given time in the United States and about 2/3 are men so approximately a half million men will be targeted to be rounded up off the streets while housing for a quarter million women ...

The race to the bottom for marijuana prices has led to unintended consequences. Just one harvest now called Croptober in Michigan happened in October of 2024 and so much marijuana was harvested that bulk prices dropped to $250 a pound, and it was reported that marijuana went unsold for as little as $150 a pound. Assuming marijuana at $250 a pound, how can dispensaries and dealers on the street stay in business? They can't, most dispensaries and production facilities in Michigan have closed, and almost all national companies have pulled out of Michigan, as well as all marijuana investors. In February and March of 2025 one dispensary in Dearborn Heights Michigan sold 2 oz of marijuana for $45, that came out to $52.50 out the door, they had two kinds of indoor hybrid smalls as well as a 26% tested outdoor indica strain, and you don't have to buy 2, they will sell a single ounce for $26.       In the 1970s in California all marijuana was dominated by Sativa strains. Sativa is now defined by the level of the terpene Myrcene as well as physical differences, with Indica plants being shorter and stockier, built more like Christmas trees than the lankier, taller Sativa plants. Before OG Kush with high levels of Myrcene dominated the 1990s, growers in California intentionally grew their outdoor Sativa strains to fully Amber glands because the product lasted longer and they got top dollar for it.      If Sativa or Sativa dominant strains are grown until the large capitate-stalked resin glands have formed but are still clear, the “high" will only last about an hour or an hour and a half when smoked and should have higher levels of CBC or CannaBiChrhomene which is the only drug that controls diarrhea without causing constipation.      The world of cannabis has really expanded in the last decade or so. For over a century the only active ingredient in U.S. marijuana was THC, which we would now call "Sativa" strains (even though Cannabis Sativa is the proper name for hemp). Then OG Kush arrived in the late 1980s with the dominant terpene being Myrcene, and within 10 years it was bred into almost all U.S. strains creating "Indica dominant" hybrids that made up 90% of the U.S. market by 1999.      Around 2010 what has come to be known as the Cookie Collective in San Francisco California bred South African Durban Poison with around 1% THCV into OG Kush and another strain that they had apparently failed to track the lineage of, and created the strain called Girl Scout Cookies, now called just GSC for obvious reasons.      Cannabis evolved in Asia where it was first domesticated as hemp for both seed and cloth.  Cannabis Ruderalis comes from Siberia near the Arctic circle where the summer growing season is determined by a lack of ice, not by any change in the daylight, so Ruderalis is the origin of autoflower plants that ignore the light cycle and go from seed to flower within 3 to 4 months.      Ruderalis means rudimentary or primordial, and it is assumed to be the original cannabis plant, which humans then took and through selective breeding turned into two kinds of hemp plants, one with large seeds for food, and another with long internodes for fiber.  The ancestor of all cannabis plants was a cousin of Ruderalis from Central Asia that would have had no need for autoflower.  Since cannabis has no pollinator and its pollen drifts up to two miles with the wind, over thousands of years all of the original wild Ruderalis plants in Asia have become...

     In Mel Brooks' 1974 roast of all westerns Blazing Saddles the character Jim goes through a transformation. When we first meet Jim (Gene Wilder), formerly known as the Waco Kid, he is an alcoholic who guzzles hard alcohol as soon as he wakes up, and his shooting hand is shaky. After Sheriff Bart (Cleavon Little) hands him a hand rolled cigarette he takes a drag and then speaks in a high-pitched tone of voice, which is to indicate that he is, "hit-holding," unique to marijuana among all drugs in the world that are smoked.      The next day Jim shaves while smoking marijuana, and after that he is never seen drinking hard alcohol again. He's seen sharing hand rolled cigarettes with Sheriff Bart and hit-holding a few more times. The next time he's seen drinking alcohol in the sheriff's office he's sitting at the desk apparently sober and drinking a beer, and he gets another beer along with Bart when they go to see Lili Von Shtüpp, but barely touches it...

      In 1937, Congressmen Harry Anslinger proposed The Marihuana Tax Act, which essentially made marijuana illegal and started Anslinger's War, an international war against marijuana and marijuana users.
