Nikki Haley Announces She Is Running For Vice President
Nikki Haley, former Governor of South Carolina and former Ambassador to the United Nations announced she's running for vice president. She actually announced that she was running for president as a Republican, but as we all know the only potential contender for President Trump is Governor DeSantis of Florida. Assuming Trump gets the nomination for the Republican Party, everyone else that will run against him is just trying to get selected as his vice president. And why not Nikki Haley? Trump already picked her once to be the US ambassador to the United Nations during his first term in office, and our political system demands that there are multiple people that run, we can't just give the nomination to Trump, and unless we change the laws to allow president for life, the Republicans do have to figure out some future after Trump, even if he is elected to a second term.
