​An Islamophobia Primer

​The word "Islamophobia" has not been around long. It is an Islamic terrorist propaganda word coined by the Muslim Brotherhood to silence dissent. This is the first paper to connect not only the 2026 terrorist designations of the Muslim Brotherhood with their creation of the word Islamophobia, but also the rise in antisemitism and the rebranding of Zionism as white supremacy that began during the summer of mostly peaceful protests in 2020.

​1. The Tactical Appropriation in Virginia

​While the Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928, the word Islamophobia was created in 1991 at the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT) in Herndon, Virginia. This group served as a front for the Muslim Brotherhood in North America.

​The Subversion: The Brotherhood's internal documents explicitly stated that their work in America was a "kind of Grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying Western Civilization from within, and 'sabotaging' its miserable house." [1]

​The Testimony: Former Muslim Brotherhood member Abdur-Rahman Muhammad was present at the IIIT meetings in Virginia when the term was being codified. He testified that the group deliberately borrowed the "phobia" suffix from homophobia to categorize all opposition as a mental defect or as bigotry. By attaching "phobia" to Islam, they successfully reframed any criticism of Islam or of Muslim terrorism as a psychiatric illness, but only among Democrat activists. Whether you spell it Islamaphobia using Latin rules, or Islamophobia using Greek rules, spell checkers flag it because it is not a real word.

​The Shield: This linguistic trick allowed them to weaponize Western activists to shield radicalism from the law. By getting American citizens to treat dissent as a psychological defect, the Muslim Brotherhood ensured that any American that questioned them would be attacked by their own activist Democrat family members as unstable or hateful.

​2. Destroying Western Civilization from Within through Mass Migration

​The "Grand Jihad" relies on a demographic engine. The strategy of destroying Western civilization from within was executed through decades of mass migration. Every time Islamic terrorist groups would attack Israel and Israel would respond, these groups and their supporters would apply for U.S. citizenship. They claimed their areas were "war zones" to gain entry, effectively using the conflicts they started as a gateway into the United States.

​The effectiveness of this plan is proven by the numbers. Around 1991, as the Muslim Brotherhood was codifying this plan, the NSRI survey counted only 527,000 Muslim adults in the United States. By 2026 after years of these cycles that number has surged to 4.5 million Muslim adults in America, a 750% increase in just 35 years.

​3. Cities: The Local Model (Sharia Law In America)

• ​Minneapolis in Hennepin County, Minnesota: This has become the epicenter of Somali refugees in America, which provided the concentrated base needed to elect Representative Ilhan Omar who was born in Somalia. Minneapolis and the surrounding Hennepin County functions as an American mirror of the Muslim terrorist secessionist zones in Central and Southern Somalia that were seized by Al-Shabaab Muslim terrorists and run under Sharia Law.
• ​Dearborn in Wayne County, Michigan: This is the epicenter of Muslim Arabs from the Middle East. This area, including Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, serves as the primary hub for Middle Eastern Islamic influence from Muslim Terrorist groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon.
• ​The Hezbollah Mirror: Dearborn is an American mirror of the secessionist Hezbollah Autonomous Zone south of the Litani River in Southern Lebanon that was seized from Lebanon by Muslim terrorists and, like Southern Somalia, Southern Lebanon is also run under Muslim Sharia Law. Dearborn has imported this model because 20% of Dearborn is from Southern Lebanon, mostly from Bint Jbeil, the former main Hezbollah stronghold in Southern Lebanon.

​The Dearborn Sharia Zone: Within Wayne County, the city of Dearborn is run as a Sharia Law zone. This transformation in Dearborn was formalized with the election of Muslim Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, who is known as a "Son of Bint Jbeil." While the school district offered Halal options as early as 2006, under Hammoud's leadership, City Hall is closed for Muslim holidays like Eid al-Adha, and Sharia banking systems and interest-free Sharia car loans have replaced standard American lending for the majority Muslim population of Dearborn.

​Legal Insurrection: The Muslim-led Dearborn City Council continually talks about Netanyahu and passes resolutions declaring that if Benjamin Netanyahu ever comes to Dearborn, he is going to be arrested and turned over to the International Court of Justice.

​4. State: The Michigan Capture

​The strategy has now scaled from the municipal corridor to the state level, leveraging the enormous voter concentration in Wayne County. In Michigan, the political machine is aggressively pushing for a Muslim American Governor. At the Michigan Democratic convention this April, the buzz was centered entirely on nominating Nasser Beydoun. This represents the next phase of the 1991 plan: moving from local control in cities in Wayne County to the executive leadership of an entire U.S. state.

​5. Country: The National Scale & Institutional Capture

​The massive demographic influx across Michigan and Minnesota provided the political launchpad for Representative Rashida Tlaib and Representative Ilhan Omar. Elected by their bases, they mainstreamed the slogan "Anti-Zionism is not antisemitism," which functions as an identical linguistic twin to "Islamophobia."

​The summer of mostly peaceful protests in 2020

​In response to the death of George Floyd, Palestinians like Representative Rashida Tlaib rebranded Zionism as white supremacy by framing Gaza through the lens of American racial politics. They claimed all Israelis were white supremacists because Benjamin Netanyahu is an Ashkenazi Jew whose father was born in Poland, and because they portrayed the Palestinians as brown-skinned. They also claimed that Israel was committing "genocide" in Gaza. Portraying all Israelis as white deliberately ignores the fact that over half of all Jewish Israelis are Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews, Middle Eastern Jews that most Americans could not tell apart from Palestinians because they are all olive-skinned.

​The Anti-Defamation League has documented a rise in antisemitism in the United States since 2020, with Americans believing more negative tropes about Jewish people now than they did 6 years ago, and this is mostly caused by half of all Democrats saying that they are "anti-Zionist" now. The Attorney General of Michigan recently warned about the rise in antisemitism specifically in Michigan after antisemitic signs were placed outside of a community event that she was attending.

​The October 7th Inversion: On October 7, 2023, Hamas Muslim terrorists murdered 1,200 Israeli Jewish civilians; the reaction on the American left was instantaneous support for the Palestinians. No one on the entire left supported Israel, and Palestinian activists immediately started harassing Jewish students on university campuses.

​Institutional Capture: The rise in antisemitic acts against Jewish Americans, especially on University campuses, made Congress drag Ivy League presidents in front of them, none of whom would say that they were willing to protect Jewish students. Instead, their concern was that they might suppress free speech on their campus. This forced a vote in Congress to address the claim that Palestinian activists were making that they were not being antisemitic, but were instead being "anti-Zionist." So in December of 2023, the U.S. House of Representatives took a vote on House Resolution 894, a non-binding resolution which simply stated that "anti-Zionism is antisemitism," and what happened? Around half of all Democrats refused to agree, including half of all Jewish Democrats, which shows that the influence of just 2 Muslim Members in the Democratic Party (Tlaib and Omar) were able to infect around half of all Democrats in Congress with Muslim terrorist antisemitism, and convinced them that the greatest perpetrators of terrorism on the planet (Political Islamists) are somehow the victims.

​6. The Rise in Antisemitism and Muslim Terrorism in America

​Because half of all Democrats refuse to acknowledge that being anti-Zionist is being antisemitic, and because Palestinians and the Muslim Brotherhood  rebranded all Jewish people and Israelis as "white supremacists," this fueled a timeline of escalating violence against Jewish Americans. At the same time there has been a rise in political assassinations with four Democrats trying to Assassinate President Trump in less than 2 years, and his proxy Charlie Kirk was assassinated last year. Muslims have attacked not only Jewish Americans, but also civilian revelers in New Orleans and National Guard troops.

​The New Orleans New Year’s Day Attack (January 1, 2025): At 3:00 AM on New Year’s Day, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S.-born Muslim and former member of the U.S. military, drove a rented Ford F-150 Lightning into a massive crowd on Bourbon Street. Jabbar, inspired by Islamic extremism, killed 14 people and injured 57 before engaging in a shootout with police. This attack proved that the "Grand Jihad" targets all Americans regardless of religion.

​The Washington D.C. Embassy Aide Assassinations (May 21, 2025): Israeli Embassy aides Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were assassinated in front of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. by an American Democrat named Elias Rodriguez that shouted "Free Palestine." 

​The Washington D.C. National Guard Assassination (November 26, 2025): Just blocks from the White House an Afghan-born Muslim national named Rahmanullah Lakanwal carried out an ambush-style assassination of two National Guard members. Lakanwal shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he shot Specialist Sarah Beckstrom and Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe in the head. The attack occurred immediately after President Trump announced a new terror watch list for Muslim majority countries including Afghanistan. Specialist Beckstrom died of her injuries, while Staff Sgt. Wolfe survived with permanent disabilities.

​The Temple Israel Attack (March 12, 2026): Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanese-born Muslim and Dearborn Heights resident, jammed his Ford F-150 pickup truck into the hallway of Temple Israel Synagogue and kindergarten in West Bloomfield one week after his brother, Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, was killed in an Israeli airstrike for being a Hezbollah missile commander that was targeting Israeli civilians in northern Israel. The FBI called the attack a "Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism."

​7. The 2026 Terrorist Designations

​On January 13, 2026, the U.S. government finally designated multiple chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs). On March 2, 2026, the State Department expanded these designations to include specific regional branches:

• ​The Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya): Designated for its operational and ideological link to Hezbollah and its role in coordinating rocket fire from Southern Lebanon into Northern Israel.
• ​The Jordanian-Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood: Designated for its role in the October 7th, 2023, massacre and its continued funneling of funds to Hamas through front charities.
• ​The East African Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Islah): Designated for its providing of safe havens and logistical support for Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia.

​The Jordanian-Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood are behind Hamas, so the use of anti-Zionism is another Muslim Brotherhood piece of terrorist antisemitic propaganda from the Palestinians in Jordan and Egypt. These designations confirm that anyone utilizing the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist terms "Islamophobia" or "Anti-Zionist" supports the same terrorists that destabilized both Southern Somalia and Southern Lebanon, where they instituted Sharia Law, which then led to mass migrations of Muslims to both Minneapolis, Minnesota and Dearborn, Michigan and surrounding areas that eventually elected both Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib as the first two Muslim members of Congress.

​Conclusion

​The timeline is clear: the Muslim Brotherhood started out as a terrorist group in 1928, reinvented itself as a "victim" in 1991, used mass migration to establish Sharia Law secessionist zones in Wayne County and Hennepin County modeled on Southern Lebanon and Southern Somalia, and used those bases to elect Tlaib and Omar who convinced half of the Democrats in Congress to be antisemitic, and to support Muslim terrorism across the Middle East. Now that multiple chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood have been officially designated as terrorist groups in 2026, don't allow any more Democrats or Muslims to use the terms Islamophobia or anti-Zionist without letting them know that they are supporting Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.
