Pawns For Putin

The United States has spent the last 20 years building a ring of anti-missile facilities around Russia and the former Soviet Union to stop Russia’s ability to launch nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles or ICBMs at the United States, the beginnings of the ring were just to contain Iran and North Korea, but when the ring is finished in the near future even Russia should no longer be a nuclear threat to the United States.  A handful of countries have ICBM defense systems, but they are mostly all based within the countries except for Russia who also has the remnants of the Soviet defense system.  We have missile defense systems on the U.S. mainland like other countries, but we also have the ring of defense systems built closer to the countries in Asia that concern us, which gives us two lines of defense, and we are separated from all of our potential nuclear threats by the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans which gives us more time to react and make multiple attempts at interception if the first line of anti missile defense systems fail to shoot down a missile.

As a part of this general strategy we are attempting to place nuclear bombs in Poland pointed at Russia, and we supported the Ukrainian coup of 2014.  Russia invaded the Ukraine in 2022 to "demilitarize" the Ukraine, getting rid of all of the weapons that the U.S. had given them over 8 years in only 18 days.  Of course the U.S. doubled down and sent more weapons in making it an endless war, but our ultimate goal is to keep the Ukraine pro U.S. and to place even more nuclear bombs in the Ukraine pointed at Russia, right on their border. 

Meanwhile, unable to compete with the United States on military investment due to Russia having a GDP less than 1/10th the size of the United States, Vladimir Putin developed his own modern anti missile defense system for Russia, but also spent the last 20 years working to undermine the United States from within.  Even though we have an economy that is over 10 times larger and have the biggest military on the planet, the United States can never win any strategy game with Vladimir Putin because he spent 16 years as a KGB foreign intelligence officer reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before the Soviet Union dissolved and he got into politics, and ever since he came to power in 1999 he has continued the Cold War by playing a single very long game of political chess with the United States, while the United States had presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden as his political chess opponents, that was a Democrat, a Republican, a Democrat, a Republican, and then another Democrat again.

The United States is a very bipolar political country, with the Democrats and Republicans holding opposing views on almost every topic, and by design there are no viable third parties, a new president could end a war, start a war, establish new trade deals or break them, and in general, there is no consistency in foreign policy that ever lasts more than 12 years like under Reagan and then Bush.  Because we rarely have stable foreign policy decisions for more than 12 years, and lately for only 4 or 8 years, many countries look at the United States as a very inconsistent partner or political friend.  Imagine a chess master playing on one side of a chess board, and on the other side, there is a relay of 5 opposing players one after another who largely also oppose most of the chess moves of the previous player on their side of the board, essentially playing at least 2 different strategies, while the chess master sitting on the other side never leaves his seat and plays one consistent strategy.  Who will win?

With a limited military budget Vladimir Putin used his KGB foreign intelligence background and focussed on propaganda directed at the U.S. population, establishing Russian Television (RT) in 2005 and paying for rooms full of internet trolls starting in at least 2008 that would eventually become the Internet Research Agency (IRA) in 2013 at which point they employed 600 people, and Putin continues to fund both RT and the IRA, which is a much cheaper strategy than investing in the military.  The Internet Research Agency became infamous when it was discovered that they had set up fake social media accounts including, “Black Matters US,” and “Blacktivist,” to play off of the Black Lives Matter page and to exacerbate racism between blacks and whites in America, and at their peak, one of the fake Russian pages had half as many followers as the official Black Lives Matter page, and the Russians advocated that black Americans should either, “walk away,” and not vote, or vote for a 3rd party in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

RT also coordinated with the Internet Research Agency’s Black Matters page to cover protests in the United States that were organized by the IRA, and famously, the Russians organized a Pro-Trump rally and an Anti-Trump rally in New York on the same day after Donald Trump was elected president where it was estimated that 5,000 to 10,000 people attended the Anti-Trump rally.  Why did President Putin do all of this?  Because what came to light was that the two main goals of the IRA, RT, and any other Russian propaganda outlet designed to target the population of the United States are:

1. To undermine confidence in the process that leads to the election of the president of the United States.

2. To show that the United States system is racist against blacks and has failed black Americans.

That’s it, the two simple goals of a chess master.  So how is President Putin doing?  In 1999 when Vladimir Putin came to power around 1/4 of all black Americans said that racism was still either a problem or a major problem that affected their lives in America.  In a repeat of the same survey by the Pew Research Center over the years the number has continued to climb, and now around double the black Americans, and over half of all black, hispanic, and white people in America think that racism towards blacks is a problem or a major problem.  Doubling the perception of racism towards black Americans in around 15 years is quite an impressive trick, and just on the racism goal alone President Putin has done very well.

When Barak Obama was elected Senator and first met with the Congressional Black Caucus, he told them that America was a mostly post racial society, the Congressional Black Caucus politely told Obama that he didn’t know what he was talking about because he was not descended from an African American slave, and he was raised by a white mother in Hawaii.  Around 15 to 20 years ago the United States was in fact a mostly post racial society like then Senator Obama said when the percent of black Americans that said that racism was either a problem or a major problem that impacted them had dropped to around 27%, and as a country we then went on to elect Obama as the first black president and even voted to reelect him, proving that Obama was right, we must have been a mostly post racial society to have elected Barak Obama president twice.  But Vladimir Putin has been trying to cause a racial divide in the United States for 17 straight years, since RT was founded, and Obama was elected president in 2008, about 9 years into the political chess match with Vladimir Putin, which allowed Russian internet trolls to stir up racial tensions in the United States.

The United States corporate media is filled with people who literally cannot see that they do Putin’s work for him for free every time they run with a story about how white racism towards blacks is increasing in America, or how all whites are racist against blacks even if they don’t know it, they cannot see that by spreading the Russian propaganda that the U.S. is systemically racist they are acting as pawns for Putin.  Anyone who says anything about the entire United States being racist against blacks, or who says anything that questions the legitimacy of the election of any U.S. president, or who calls to remove any U.S. president from office is a pawn for Putin in his political chess match with the United States.

Before and after President Obama was elected in 2008 Donald Trump spearheaded the, “Birther,” movement which claimed that Obama was born in Indonesia and somehow was not qualified to be president, despite the fact that he was born in Hawaii, and the fact that even if he was born in Indonesia his mother was an American citizen so it wouldn’t have mattered.  Starting in 2008 both Donald Trump and Fox News that often echoed the Birther story were pawns for Putin and continued to be so for the next 8 years.  Then for 4 straight years all of the Democratic biased media focussed on how President Trump was not qualified, and the House even went so far as to impeach him.  And then Trump convinced 1/3 of all Republicans that the 2020 election was stolen, so he is back to being a pawn for Putin again.  The entire Democratic biased media in the United States including TV, newspapers, magazines, and the internet, the Republican leaning media, and Donald Trump have all been pawns for Putin.

By 2016 almost the entire corporate media structure of the United States was slanted to the Democratic Party except for Fox News and a few newspapers, magazines, and websites that were Republican.  Reporters are generally expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in either journalism, communications, or a related media writing major, and around 90% of all college and university professors in the United States are registered Democrats, so it may come as no surprise that around 95% of all reporters in the United States are also registered Democrats.  President Trump and Fox News call Democratic biased media, “the mainstream media,” and, “fake news,” though by all fairness both Donald Trump and Fox News spread, “fake news,” and undermined confidence in the process that leads to the presidency of the United States by questioning President Obama’s ability to be president with the Birther story, and they are doing it again when they talk about the 2020 election being stolen. 

Generally, Fox News was unrelentingly negative to President Obama for 8 straight years, and then the entire Democratic biased media was unrelentingly negative to President Trump for 4 straight years, but that is nothing new, it is part of the normal binary political propaganda in America, the Russian propaganda specifically questions any president’s fitness to serve, questions the legitimacy of any election, and promotes removing any president from office for any reason, and the Russian propaganda promotes the belief that the United States is systemically racist against black people.  Since some shows on Fox News support President Trump and some do not support him, Fox News is actually the closest thing to, “fair and balanced,” that the U.S. media can currently provide, too bad they dropped the slogan in the middle of 2017, just a few months into it being true, because they were not fair to President Obama when they repeated the Birther story.

In addition to undermining confidence in the process that leads to the presidency of the United States since President Trump was elected, the Democratic biased media also regularly features people claiming racism is a growing problem in the United States since the election of President Trump, with cries of KKK, Neo-Nazi, White Supremacist, and White Privilege abounding, and before that they spent years focusing on all police killings of black men, both of which support the Russian propaganda that America is systemically racist against blacks.  About 1/4 of blacks in America felt that racism was still either a problem or a major problem impacting their lives 20 years ago, the members of the Congressional Black Caucus that told Obama that America was still a racist country represented this 1/4 of black Americans, all other people beyond about 27% of black Americans that currently claim racism in America directed at black people by white people is a concern, a major concern, or a growing problem are all pawns for Putin, and all fail to see their own roles in raising the concerns about racism in America by black Americans from around 27% twenty years ago to over 50% today.

Racism towards Muslims increased after 9/11, and there has been an increase in racist acts against Ashkenazi Jews in America, but racism towards blacks in America hasn’t doubled in the last 15 to 20 years, only the perception of racism towards blacks has doubled across all demographic groups, and this is due to constant Russian propaganda that is repeated by the Democratic biased media in America.

While Fox News and Donald Trump were guilty of being pawns for Putin during the Obama administration by undermining confidence in the process that leads to the presidency with the Birther story, most shows on Fox News and most Fox News talking heads do not spread the Russian propaganda about white racism towards blacks in America, but congratulations ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, and the rest of the Democratic biased media that both undermines confidence in the process that leads to the presidency and repeats the Russian propaganda that the entire United States is racist towards blacks, you have been so valuable to Putin’s chess match that you are not just pawns for Putin, you have performed like knights, bishops and rooks for Putin in his political chess match with the United States.

Unlike the United States which is based on binary government propaganda supporting the appearance of choice and democracy, the Russians currently have a cult of personality based around Vladimir Putin in which there is no longer binary thinking within political parties, no one can reasonably oppose President Putin politically within Russia, most Russians generally like Putin and have accepted that he is president for life, and there is even talk of naming him Tsar Putin in the near future.  The binary, nearly schizophrenic political system of the United States means that we will never have a unified strategy to oppose Putin in political chess, so we have very little to no chance of winning.  Republicans questioned the legitimacy of President Obama, and Democrats questioned the legitimacy of President Trump, so both U.S. political parties have been pawns for Putin and the Democrats, Greens, and Democratic Socialists are pawns for Putin every time they say that America is racist, or that all white people are white supremacists, or that white privilege exists, or that President Trump is a racist.

Class privilege does exist in America just like in the rest of the world, the children of the rich go to good schools, inherit wealth, and get lots of privilege in life, but poor white people are barely any better off than poor black people in America.  In fact, due to affirmative action and racial quotas some poor black Americans have received more help over the last 50 years than poor white Americans, and anyone who says differently is ignoring facts, or is just an unwitting pawn for Putin in his long game of political chess with the United States.  There are so many unwitting pawns for Putin it is astonishing, and the fact that so many Americans are complicit in the undermining of America is horrifying, it feeds right into Russian President Vladimir Putin’s hands.  Putin opposes all presidents of the United States and treats them all as his political adversaries, but the Democrats actually seem to think that he favors President Trump and has had no other influence in America at all.

And that is the insurmountable problem for America in political chess. Not only do we switch political parties every 8 years or so, but the U.S. media has largely done all of Putin’s work for him out of sheer stupidity, and sadly, just for higher ratings.  The talking heads on television that work for the Democratic biased media sources apparently cannot see how they are complicit with Russia and pawns for Putin every time they say, “white privilege,” or, “the president is not fit for office.”  Since most of the talking heads on Fox News don’t do this, and they mostly stopped attacking President Obama and dropped the Birther story since he is no longer in office, Fox News mostly stopped being a pawn for Putin.  But every time Fox mentions a stolen election, and every time Jan 6th is mentioned in the Democratic biased media, they further the main goal of the Internet Research Agency, to undermine confidence in the process that leads to the presidency in America.

Talking about January 6th or a stolen election also covers up Putin’s real goals and efforts since 1999, the Russians have not just been meddling in the U.S. since 2008, they have been meddling in the U.S. since before the Cold War when they were the Soviet Union, and since 1999 they have had a single leader who has been playing a long game of political chess to destroy the U.S. from within using the old adage, “divide and conquer.”  Putin wants to divide blacks against whites, and Democrats against Republicans, our own American binary propaganda makes this fairly easy for him, and he only has to push us apart along already existing divisions.  Vladimir Putin disliked Hillary Clinton because when she was Secretary of State she attempted to influence a Russian election to have someone other than Putin win, and so by way of a personal grudge he probably wanted her to lose in the U.S. election, but the Russian influence on the 2016 U.S. election is still considered to be very minor, and Putin does not favor any U.S. political party or person, all Americans are his political chess opponents.

The Russians try to influence our elections just like the U.S. did to Russia when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State under President Obama, and just like the United States has been doing all around the world for well over 125 years, if propaganda doesn’t work to influence elections in foreign countries, propaganda and money can cause a coup, and if that doesn’t work, the United States has a history of invading countries to protect U.S. corporate business interests, as was detailed in retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler’s speech that was turned into a short book in 1935 called War is a Racket.  As the most decorated Marine in U.S. history when he retired, it was later revealed that he had been approached no less than 40 times by U.S. industrial and corporate families asking him to lead the U.S. veterans in a coup to overthrow President Franklin D. Roosevelt called the, “Business Plot,” starting soon after FDR was elected president and had started to implement the New Deal.  Butler told a congressional committee in 1933 less than 4 months after FDR took office that the industrial families had decided not to go with the model of the black shirts of Italy or the brown shirts of Germany, but instead with the French model, and they expected to install Major General Butler as dictator of America like in Fascist European countries at the time, and it appears that this is what pushed Butler over the edge and caused him to start touring around the United States and giving the War is a Racket speech that was expanded to become the book of the same name.

There has always been a threat of losing our country to a Fascist coup, and knowing this, President Putin of Russia has made it his goal to topple the United States government.  The only way to resist the Russian influence is by being smart and not doing Putin’s work for him, just understand that all attempts to undermine the confidence in the process that leads to the presidency, all claims of not fit to be president, and all discussion of removing any president from office are all part of the the main goal of the Internet Research Agency, and all claims of systemic racism or growing white racism toward blacks in America is the other goal of the Internet Research Agency.

The progress we made as a county eliminating racism in the 20th century has apparently largely been pushed back due to Russian interference in our country over the last 15 to 20 years, and now over half of the population is concerned about racism towards blacks in America.  But there is still a choice, and it is a binary one so this will be easy, the choice is siding with then Senator Barack Obama who thought that America was a mostly post racial society, or siding with President Vladimir Putin of Russia who pays to spread the Russian propaganda that the United States has always been a racist country and has failed black Americans due to systemic white racism, and in this binary choice the only American thing to do is to reject the Russian propaganda.

The Russians will not stop trying to influence elections in other countries including the United States, just like the United States will apparently never stop trying to influence the elections in other countries all around the world, and the Internet makes it very easy to influence Americans through social media and comments on websites.  It is the job of all U.S. citizens to be moderately nationalistic, because without a core belief that America is united like in the name of our country, the United States of America, Vladimir Putin will win his political chess match.  Unfortunately many Americans continue to read social media posts by Russians pretending to be racist black Americans, or racist white Americans, and they appear to be unable to tell fake Russian posts from real American posts even though the Russian posts from the Internet Research Agency are rarely written in fluent American English.

If the ring of anti missile defense systems is completed before Russia fires off an ICBM at the United States the Cold War will largely be over, and knowing this, Vladimir Putin has been using propaganda to try to destroy America from within.  With the ring of defense systems nearing completion this is all coming to a head, and the Russians will continue to stir up racism and distrust of the process that elects any president of the United States because this is the endgame of Putin’s political chess match and his last opportunity to win the Cold War, and Vladimir Putin already came very close to declaring checkmate in 2017 when the acting FBI director says he did an informal, “head count,” to find out who would back using the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.

With disturbing similarities in timing to the Business Plot of 1933 which was revealed to Congress within 4 months of the election of FDR, about 4 months after President Trump took office in 2017 acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe did a headcount to see if there were enough people to back invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office and install Vice President Pence, all over potential Russian influence or belief that President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey to cover up Russian influence.  And while the seriousness of the McCabe Headcount of 2017 has been disputed, Americans were made aware of it, so the pawns for Putin have been working very hard on the American tax dollar to destroy America from within, because any questioning of the process that leads to the presidency, any questioning of the president’s fitness to serve, and any talk of impeaching the president or of removing him from office with the 25th Amendment have all moved Vladimir Putin closer to checkmate.  It doesn’t matter which president is in office, for Putin this is not about President Trump, or President Biden, the Russians will support any story that suggests that any president is not fit for office, all U.S. presidents are nothing more to Putin than his opponents in Russia’s political chess match.

Having the biggest military on the planet and having the most money does not protect Americans from Russian propaganda, and when RT and around 600 people in a troll farm in Russia can double the perception of racism towards blacks in America over the last 14 years and make both the Republicans and the Democrats undermine confidence in the process that leads to the presidency, the United States has almost no hope of beating Vladimir Putin.  Ultimately, most Americans don’t even know we are in a political chess match with Russia, and far too many Americans are unwitting pawns for Putin.  Democrats and other Americans repeat Russian propaganda talking points while simultaneously expressing concerns about Russian influence in America, or in the Ukraine, they can see potential Russian influence anywhere else except for within themselves.

As long as Democrats continue to say that President Trump should be blocked from holding future office they continue to be pawns for Putin, just like the Republicans that repeated the Birther story were pawns for Putin during President Obama’s time in office, the same as anyone supporting the stolen 2020 election theory.  Everyone does not have to like the current president, but Americans need to respect the office of the presidency and stop undermining the process that leads to the presidency.  At least 17 years of Russian influence within the American news media, social media, and comment on websites, as well as Russians leaking timely information to the American press all influenced the Democrats to spend 4 straight years calling for the removal of President Trump over potential Russian influence, which would be funny if our country was not at stake, and if we were not at risk of losing even the appearance of democracy in America.
