America's War In The Ukraine

     February of 2023 sadly marks the one year anniversary of the war in the Ukraine. My first blog post in October of 2022 title A Call For Peace In The Ukraine laid out the history of how the United States backed a pro-western coup in the Ukraine in 2014 and then spent eight years arming the Ukrainians. In 2022 in only 18 days President Putin of Russia destroyed every single one of the weapons systems that the United States had given the Ukraine over 8 years, and then declared mission accomplished in March of 2022 as far as his stated goal of demilitarizing the Ukraine.

     Of course the United States just sent more weapons, billions of dollars of more weapons, and so this war has dragged out for more than a year, all because of the United States, and all US government officials both current and former continue to repeat the US state department position on the Ukraine, which is that Putin is bad. Nothing more. No US official, current or former, will admit that the United States is to blame for all of the deaths since March of 2022. Putin's strategic military action only took 18 days, while the US proxy war with Russia has been going on now for over 11 months.

     One year into the war both the Ukrainians and the Russians claim to have killed up to 150,000 enemy soldiers on each side, while General Eirik Kristoffersen of Norway has placed the numbers at 180,000 Russian casualties, 100,000 Ukrainian casualties, and 30,000 Ukrainian civilian casualties. The problem is that all of the numbers are propaganda on all sides, in August of last year the Ukrainians claimed to have killed 121,480 Russian soldiers while at the exact same time the Russians claimed to have only lost 9,000 soldiers. According to various estimates the Russians have lost 12,500 troops in total, 80,000 troops in total, or 180,000 troops in total, and no one will probably ever know the truth.

     Please stop saying that President Zelenskyy of the Ukraine is a hero. He is nothing more than a US puppet doing the bidding of his US masters, destroying his own country and killing his own people by playing this proxy war with Russia. He obviously does not care about the Ukrainian people since he is actively working to kill them, wound them, destroy their homes, and destroy their farms. President Zelenskyy is only the sixth president of the Ukraine, because the Ukraine has no independent history separate from Russia before the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. To be fair, if Zelenskyy wouldn't do it, the US would have found someone else to do it instead, and Zelenskyy was still just an actor and a comedian when the US backed the neo-Nazi coup in 2014 called the Maidan Revolution, the Revolution of Dignity, or simply the Ukrainian Revolution, so Zelenskyy had nothing to do with that. 

     The one person that has had something to do with the Ukraine the entire time is Joe Biden, in 2014 he was vice president when his son Hunter used the top secret documents recently found in Joe Biden's garage to offer his services to Burisma in the Ukraine, and then started working for Burisma just 6 weeks after the Maidan Revolution. Then Joe Biden was president when President Putin of Russia announced his special military operation to demilitarize the Ukraine, then about a month later supported sending billions of dollars worth of more weapons into the Ukraine. 

     Pulitzer winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh now says that the United States and Norway blew up the Nord Stream pipeline in August of 2022, cutting off the flow of gas from Russia to Germany. And while many US officials have publicly stated for years that Europe should get all of their gas and oil from the United States instead of Russia, in February of 2022 President Biden said, "If Russia invades...then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it." Apparently in response to the war in the Ukraine the US planted bombs in June of 2022 in a joint exercise with Norway and then blew them up in August of 2022 in what Seymour Hersh calls the dumbest US act in years.
