Apple Is Ripping Off Google
Did you know that Google wrote the code for all Android phones? Did you know that this means that the default search engine on android phones is always Google search? Did you know that you can use Google Docs instead of a Microsoft Word file and it doesn't cost any money?
Did you know that Google paid Apple 15 billion dollars last year alone just to be able to have their search engine as the default search engine on Apple iPhones, iPads, and I assume computers as well? And finally, did you know that on the current iPhones this default search is so small that it appears to be only a tiny logo in the bottom center of an Apple iPhone desktop screen? Google is not getting their 15 billion dollars worth this year, because only the iPads have a Google search bar that is large enough to be easily visible. By writing the Android code in the first place, and by paying Apple to have their search bars on the Apple products, Google has over a 90% dominance in all searches online in the United States.
However, do to the compartmentalization of the internet, Google searches have become nearly useless in the last year or two. Google seems to only give you results from something within Google's sphere of ownership like something from YouTube, but not from a completely different server or service like Facebook. Currently if you don't do a Boolean search and add "+reddit" to the end of what you're searching for on Google, you will not get any good information on the subject of how to make an Oculus Rift work, because Facebook owns Oculus, but add the "+reddit" to the end of your Google search and the top results will be Reddit articles on the subject.
Even a few years ago you could get good results off of Google, but not anymore. That's a lot of uselessness to pay Apple $15 billion dollars a year for, especially when they shrink it to the size that you have to use a magnifying lens to see that it's not some sort of tiny desktop logo on the iPhone screens.
