Support For Trump Unwavering After Indictment

In November of 2022 Quinnipiac asked Republicans if they thought that Trump had been a positive effect on the Republican Party, and if they were MAGA Republicans, 70% said they thought Trump had been a positive effect on the Republican Party, and 79% said that they were MAGA Republicans. After Trump was indicted in New York Quinnipiac repeated this poll and while those saying that Trump had a positive impact on the party has dropped to 65%, the exact same 79% of Republicans in the country still say that they are MAGA Republicans.
For over four straight months an unwavering 79% of Republicans say that they align with the MAGA movement, yet the mainstream media continues to lie and say that MAGA Republicans are the minority of Republicans and The Lunatic Fringe of the party. The mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) claims that Trump Republicans or MAGA Republicans only represent around 30% of the Republican Party.
The Democrats just can't seem to get this through their heads. They can continue to lie on the mainstream media and tell the Democrats that watch that the majority of Republicans are not MAGA Republicans, but that is really just a lie for Democrats. Trump is now the undisputed leader of the Republican Party, with nearly four out of every five Republicans saying that they are MAGA Republicans. The only people who think that there's still any competition for the Republican nomination for president in 2024 are the Democrats in the mainstream media.
Clinton called Trump supporters, "a basket of deplorables," 7 years ago, and a few weeks ago CNN was saying that Trump supporters thought that Trump was God, using the Lord's name in vain to try to score political points and saying that his supporters are crazy. Attempting to marginalize Trump supporters, or claiming that they are a minority, or crazy, or deplorable is a very stupid way to approach politics. The mainstream media will never be able to convince Republicans to stop supporting Trump, because only liberal Democrats watch the mainstream media.
In fact, all of the evidence points to the fact that the more you mention Trump's name on television, the more popular Trump becomes. Before Trump tweeted that he would be indicted he was bringing in about a half million dollars a day for his reelection campaign in 2024, that doubled to 1 million a day for the next few days, and a week later when it was officially announced that he would be indicted, he raised $4 million dollars in the next 24 hours alone.
In 2024 when Trump wins a second term I predict that there will be many, many people scratching their heads just like they did in 2016, wondering how they possibly could have gotten it so wrong. Trump got more than 10 million more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, and I predict that he will get all 74 million votes he did last time plus many millions of more votes. I think that Biden will not receive anywhere near 81 million votes in 2024 because most of the mail-in ballots will be curtailed, abortion will not be on people's minds, but inflation and supply chain issues will be. Trump stacked the Supreme Court, primaried Republicans that opposed him until he controlled the House of Representatives, and now that he has been indicted in New York his re-election campaign is raking in more money, and rather than turn off any Republicans to Trump, the exact same 79% of all Republicans from November still say that they are MAGA Republicans.
