Trump Should Pick Gabbard as VP
Tulsi Gabbard is Trump's best choice for Vice President, as a former Democrat, she may be able to bring swing voters and Democrats to the Republican ticket. Since only Gabbard & Trump are not Warmongers he knows he can trust her to take over in 2028, and her new book title doesn't hurt: “For Love of Country: Leave The Democrat Party Behind.”
Donald Trump is a master strategist, so all Republican Senators, Representatives, Governors & Kari Lake (who is running for Senate) are useful right where they are. But Tulsi Gabbard is available, and is a telegenic, female, anti-war, veteran of color who is still active in the reserves, she was deployed for a 12-month tour in Iraq as a medic in 2004 & 2005. She truly brings a lot to the table.
Tulsi Gabbard left the Democrat Party in October of 2022 saying that they had been taken over by an elite cabal of warmongers. Unfortunately so have the Republicans. Only Donald Trump is not a warmonger, thankfully Tulsi Gabbard makes Trump's VP short list. Trump is said to want to select someone who looks like they are, “out of central casting,” and he would like it to be a very capable female, but all of the other names that are floated are already useful cogs in his new Republican machine that are loyal to him. He's not going to take anyone else other than Gabbard.
Trump spent the last 8 years taking over the Republican Party, using the primaries in 2018 to oppose not Democrats but Republicans that opposed him, running hand picked Republicans loyal to him against incumbent RINO Republicans (Republican In Name Only) that opposed him. He “primaried” his Republican opponents, and did it again in 2020, and even in 2022 when he was no longer president whole slates of candidates for Republicans in Arizona and in Michigan all denied that Biden was even the legitimate president. Then in 2023 they ousted McCarthy as Speaker of the House and elected Mike Johnson the Speaker, at which point the House became controlled by Trump’s hand picked Republican candidates that I call MAGA Republicans.
There were only seven swing states in 2024 and Trump has been leading for months in at least six of the seven, meaning he will win the electoral College. In addition, Virginia has become a swing state even though it wasn't supposed to be. Meaning this could be a Red Wave in 2024 and it appears as if Trump will also win the Senate with about 55 Senators being Republican, so Trump will win the presidency and Republicans that are supportive of him will control the Senate, the House of Representatives and the Supreme Court. All will be conservative. Maybe then Trump can drain the swamp. But after 8 years of deliberately building a brand new party, unless we get 2/3 of all of the states to agree that Trump can have a third term, he's going to have to pass the candy factory on to somebody, so Willy Wonka needs a Charlie.
Who could Willy Wonka trust to take care of the oompa loompas and to do things the way he did them? Not a grown up. He said he had to find a child, so he sent out the golden tickets. Trump is in the exact same situation as Willy Wonka. Here he has built this coalition, but almost everyone else is still a warmonger. Who can he trust to take care of America when he's no longer president? And because the Democrats have so utterly destroyed their position politically, whoever Trump chooses as his vice president will be the overwhelming favorite to be elected president in just 4 years. Hillary Clinton ran for president, and Kamala Harris is the current vice president but no one thinks that Kamala Harris has any chance of being president. If Trump chooses Tulsi Gabbard as his vice president he is giving her a golden ticket to be the first female president of the United States in a little over 4½ years.
Why do I say Trump's not a warmonger? Because he was nominated for four separate Nobel Peace prizes for his work in sending negotiators over or negotiating himself between opposing sides in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Korea. And more importantly, because of the Richard Bolton story, one time Trump took Bolton with him because he said he knew Bolton was crazy and he just likes to bomb everybody. So he brought him to help negotiate. Trump said he thought people would see Bolton and think, “Oh, Bolton's crazy.” And then Trump said the most amazing thing, he said: “You don't have to drop bombs on everybody. You don't have to kill people.” Which is why Trump is not a warmonger, he believes that there are other ways to resolve conflicts, remember that he wrote a book called, “The Art Of The Deal.”
After leaving the Democrat Party in a spectacular fashion less than 2 years ago and being in my opinion the lead contender for Donald Trump's VP pick in 2024, Tulsi Gabbard moved from very Democrat Hawaii to very Republican Texas making it her new home in March of 2024, which would make commuting to the White House much easier. And then at the end of April 2024 Tulsi Gabbard turned down RFK Jr's offer to be his vice presidential running mate in 2024, and I think that is because Trump already told her that he is making her his VP, he is just waiting for a good time when he isn't already getting tons of free advertising, or maybe he is just waiting for the Republican convention to reveal her. Since leaving the Democrat Party, Tulsi Gabbard has become a regular commentator on Fox News where she has continued to hone her telegenic skills. Imagine the VP debate between Tulsi Gabbard and Kamala Harris!
