The Ark Was A Farm Not A Zoo

The Ark Was A Farm Not A Zoo

The Yazidi faith represents a 6,774-year-old religious tradition, and the Yazidi say they are descended from Adam alone, whereas the rest of humanity is descended from Adam and Eve. They also say their lineage tracks directly to Noah, and they have maintained their physical sanctuary on Mount Sinjar ever since the Ark landed there 6,774 years ago. Because they trace their lineage directly to Noah, Yazidis drink wine as an integrated part of their religious ceremonies, and in general daily life.

The Vineyard Planted By Noah

Despite Islam forbidding  the consumption of alcohol and dominating the entire area the Yazidis live in, they continue to openly drink wine. This practice tracks directly back to the Biblical and Cuneiform accounts of the post-flood world. As recorded in the Bible, the very first thing Noah did upon landing on Mount Ararat was to plant a vineyard, produce wine, and get drunk, which requires up to five years and specialized agricultural knowledge like pruning and removing up to 90% of the new spring vines off of grapevines which forces the plant to yield larger, concentrated bunches of fruit later in the year, and the grape leaves are edible and can be used to wrap cracked wheat and minced meat. Mashing, chemical fermentation, and preservation techniques are necessary to turn raw fruit into wine, which was the only way of preserving the grapes for years other than turning them into dried fruit or vinegar, but you can't drink vinegar like wine and you can't drink dried fruit.

Water was not safe to drink until about 140 years ago on most of the planet, which is why everybody drank either beer or wine to avoid dying of dysentery caused by various freshwater pathogens before the germ theory of modern medicine and people knew why boiling water was important. Before that only the rich people in Europe that boiled water for tea got the advantage of sterile water. Infant mortality was extreme up until around 140 years ago because people would use unboiled water to produce food for their infants, and doctors refused to wash their hands between dissecting corpses and delivering babies, which killed many women and many babies. When we talk about modern sanitation, we're talking mostly about tap water that won't get you sick, or boiling water before drinking or making food for babies, and washing hands with soap and water.

And unlike wine which is just a way of preserving grape juice, beer is a way of making even pond water safe to drink, and session beers around 2.5% alcohol were created specifically to be sterile water and were consumed by children and the whole family in Europe as the only safe way to avoid dysentery.

The Ark Was A Working Farm

In the oldest Sumerian cuneiform accounts of the deluge, the god Enki had designed rapid-growing domesticated grains, nutrient-dense pulses, and specialized livestock like woolly cows and sheep for mankind. When Enki delivered the survival instructions to Ziusudra, called Noah in the Bible, he did not command the collection of a global zoo. Ziusudra says he took two of everything of every beast of the field, wild and domesticated, but they were only referring to cultivated fields and pastures. The Ark functioned as a mobile farm designed to preserve the engineered plants and animals and the entire framework of agrarian civilization, with the deck being used for crops. The Sumerian texts say that the flood lasted for a year and that Ziusudra brought not only his family and the pilot, but also craftsmen like carpenters, metal workers, and scribes so that they could restart society after the flood.

Once the Ark landed, they transferred all of their plants off the decks into fields and terraces, and moved all of their animals off the Ark, including ostriches, ducks, geese, and all of their farm animals and the wild animals that lived in the pastures and the crops. The Ark was not a mystical genetic zoo that captured two of everything on the Earth. It was a working farm with everything necessary to restart agrarian society after the flood, but all that remains of the Sumerian story in the Bible is that Noah planted a vineyard and got drunk.

Mesopotamian pictographs depict two winged beings on either side of the Tree of Life, holding small baskets and what appears to be a bunch of grapes, or what people claim is a purse and a sponge. People actually say that they're sponging the leaves with water. I say that it is the literal story of Ziusudra in visual form. That is Ziusudra and the pilot who after the Ark landed planted the Tree of Life which was the grapevine growing up a living tree. To this day in the country of Georgia grapevines are grown up living trees like an apple tree or a pomegranate tree and then the tree yields both fruit and flowers at the same time, just like the depictions of two winged beings on either side of the Tree of Life which has both fruit and flowers.

The winged beings appear to be picking a bunch of grapes and the fact that the bunch of grapes is the same size as the basket indicates a large bunch of grapes as large as the basket, and the only way to get a large bunch of large grapes is to cut off most of the spring shoots, concentrating all of the energy into the remaining few vines, and to cut all vines off at the end of the season back to "rods and spurs" of a specific length and number. And the only way to train grape vines off the ground is to grow them up a living tree, which is preferable to maintaining a rotting wooden trellis for up to the next hundred years.

The Mesopotamian pictographs and the Sumerian Cuneiform tell the exact same story of how to grow grapes, how to companion plant and trellis vines, how to espalier trees, and how to remove small fruit as soon as they form to concentrate the energy into the remaining fruit, which is what produces large apples and large pomegranates. And all of this was contained in the story of Ziusudra and how the Ark was a working farm, not a zoo like modern Christians claim based on the Bible.
